Consultation

Professors, researchers and doctoral students of the University have free access to library shelves and can independently take the books they need.

All other patrons, both internal and external to the University, must complete and turn in the appropriate request form to the attendant in the Reading Room during the established hours. Requested documents are delivered within 15 minutes.

Volumes found within the Reading Room (source materials, textbooks, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and certain journals), marked with the initials SL, are located on open shelves and are freely accessible to all.

Documents found within the Special Collections must be requested by all patrons by completing the appropriate forms.

Check Out

Only professors, researchers, and University students of the 2º and 3º cycles (licentiate and doctorate) are authorized to check material out of the library. To learn the check out process, please see the procedures.
