The Research Center, along with the professors' offices and the Library, are situated in the complex of buildings between Via dei Farnesi and Via di San Girolamo della Carità, in the Regola (Rule) District. The television and radio studios used by the School of Communications are found in the same location.
The Reseach Center is also the office of St. Josemaría Escriva Historical Institute, erected by the Prelate of Opus Dei on the 9th January 2001. It is a Centre of scientific research, which promotes historical, theological, canonistic studies, etc. on St. Josemaría and his message, as well as the history of Opus Dei.
