Luca Mongelli racconta la start up Ridaje a Di Buon Mattino (Tv2000)

Il giorno 3 ottobre Luca Mongelli (MCE Executive Director, IESE Marie Curie Fellow) è stato ospite della trasmissione Di Buon Mattino in onda su Tv2000 per parlare di Ridaje, la start up a vocazione sociale - di cui è socio fondatore - che si occupa di trasformare i senza fissa dimora in giardinieri del verde pubblico della città di Roma. 

Attraverso particolari modelli di business Ridaje sfrutta le potenzialità del mercato per generare un impatto su tutte quelle persone tipicamente escluse dal contesto sociale.

Dal 2019 a oggi numerose aree della città di Roma sono state riqualificate grazie al lavoro di senza fissa dimora adeguatamente formati al ruolo di giardinieri. Attraverso l'erogazione di questi servizi di giardinaggio urbano, Ridaje ha innescato un meccanismo che vede la partecipazione attiva della cittadinanza, la valorizzazione della persona e il bene della comunità.

On 21 June the Markets, Culture and Ethics (MCE) Research Centre hosted the seminar Contemplation at Work: A Theological Conversation Between John Paul II and Josemaría Escrivá, fourth appointment of the seminar series Holiness Through Work: Commemorating the Encyclical Laborem Exercens. Speakers of the event Prof. Msgr. Martin Schlag (Alan W. Moss Endowed Chair for Catholic Social Thought at St. Thomas University, Minnesota, US, John A. Ryan Institute Director, Minnesota, US, MCE Director, Rome) and Prof. Rev. Cristian Mendoza (Professor of Social Doctrine of the Church at Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Rome).

The seminar series Holiness Through Work: Commemorating the Encyclical Laborem Exercens is organized in partnership with the John A. Ryan Institute for Catholic Social Thought and the Research Centre ROR: Relational Ontology Research.
