
On Tuesday, June 17, 2025 (3:00 PM, Álvaro del Portillo Hall), a farewell event was held in honor of Professor Philippe Dalleur, lecturer in Philosophy of Nature and Philosophy of Life. On this occasion, Professor Dalleur delivered a Lectio Brevis entitled Intelligence: Animal and Artificial.
The event was moderated by Professor Francisco Fernández Labastida, Dean of the School of Philosophy, and also featured an address by Professor Luis Romera, Full Professor of Metaphysics.

Monday, June 16, 2025 (5:30 PM, Aula del Senato Benedetto XVI), a meeting will be held titled "Why Does Nicaea Matter to Us Today?", on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea.
During the event, Gian Guido Vecchi (Vatican correspondent for Corriere della Sera), Giovanni Maria Vian (former editor of L’Osservatore Romano), and Giulio Maspero, Dean of the School of Theology, will engage in a dialogue moderated by Ilaria Vigorelli, professor at the Faculty of Theology. The discussion will begin with the presentation of the book The Bet of Constantine: How the Council of Nicaea Changed History (Mondadori, 2025), written by the two journalists.

On 12–13 June 2025 the the research group Rediscovering the Individual: Misadventures, Drifts and Returns of a Fundamental Notion. An inquiry into a reshaped metaphysics organised the conference entitled “The Individual Challenged by Knowledge”.
The event offered an interdisciplinary opportunity to reflect on the notion of the individual in light of the challenges posed by contemporary science, philosophy, and technology.

Saturday, June 14, 2025 (6:30 PM, Aula Magna "John Paul II"), at the initiative of the Office for Promotion & Development Italy, the annual fundraising evening will take place to support scholarships for priest students and seminarians attending our University.
This year's program features a performance by the theatre company ATTORvergata, presenting Act One of the comedy Rumori fuori scena, directed by Matteo Pelle.
Following the performance, a dinner will be held on the terrace of Palazzo dell’Apollinare.

Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7, 2025 (9:30 AM, Álvaro del Portillo Hall), marked the First Delegates' Day of the University. Around forty representatives, who serve as delegates of our institution in various countries around the world, were in attendance.
These two days of meetings offered an opportunity for deeper understanding of the University and for acquiring useful tools to promote and represent it internationally.
