The Ars Celebrandi course began on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. The initiative aims to facilitate a more fruitful participation in the Eucharistic celebration by both the priest and the faithful. The lessons will be held by several experts, including S.Em.Rev. Card. Robert Sarah (Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments), H.E.R. Msgr. Piero Marini (President of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses) and Msgr. Guido Marini (Master of the pontifical liturgical celebrations).
The "Journalism & Religious Traditions" Committee, coordinated by the School of Church Communications, organizes the second edition of the Course "The great religious traditions", which will take place starting from February 12, 2020, every Wednesday for four meetings. From 3 to 7 February 2020, the VI Study Week for Seminar Trainers took place, promoted by the Center for Priestly Formation on the theme The intellectual dimension of the formation of candidates for the priesthood. The activity was aimed at priests with assignments in seminaries, and attempted to start a common reflection and a fruitful comparison between the different protagonists in the formation of candidates for the priesthood. The Relational Ontology Research Group (ROR) met again on Thursday, January 30, 2020, with the initiative Researching through the eyes of Faith?. An Experting meeting was held in the morning, on Epistemology of historical-religious studies, and a Patristic Seminar in the afternoon, on Epistemology and Patristic Studies. The seminar had the participation of Mark Edwards of Oxford University, Samuel Fernandez of the Catholic University of Santiago de Chile and Paul van Geest of Tilburg University.
Students from the University of Missouri-Columbia's School of Journalism were hosted by the School of Church Communications, on the Roman stop of their "Europe Tour 2020."
