A group of students and professors from Texas A&M University (College Station, TX – USA), on Thursday, February 20, 2019, visited our University during their activity program in Italy. The group was welcomed by professors Juan Narbona and Daniel Arasa, from the School of Church Communications, who illustrated some aspects concerning the communication of the Church and the papacy of Pope Francis.
On Saturday, February 9, 2019, the third day of the Permanent Seminar of the International Higher School for Interdisciplinary Research (SISRI) took place. This year, SISRI Permanent Seminar is dedicated to the "perception of the foundation in scientific culture". On the occasion of the Feast of the Patron Saint Thomas Aquinas, students of the School of Theology, on January 16, 2019, made a pilgrimage to the Abbey of Montecassino, one of the oldest monastery in Italy, founded in 529 by San Benedetto da Norcia.
Students from the University of Missouri-Columbia's School of Journalism were hosted by the School of Church Communications, on the Roman stop of their "Europe Tour 2019." In addition to the University, they visited St. Peter's Basilica, and the Vatican Museums.
Registrations are open for the VI Course for Seminars Trainers, which will take place from February 2019 to January 2020 on the initiative of the Center for Priestly Formation. The course takes place in two semesters, with two-hour weekly lessons for a total of 50 teaching hours; it has full compatibility with the Licentiate and Doctoral studies in the various roman universities.
In the second semester of the year 2018/19 the 2nd edition of the Corso sull’accompagnamento sacerdotale nel cammino matrimoniale is scheduled. It will be divided into eight sessions, from February 20 to April 10, 2019, and will be given by university professors and other experts in family orientation. More informations
