On the occasion of the Feast of the Patron Saint Thomas Aquinas, students of the School of Theology, on January 16, 2019, made a pilgrimage to the Abbey of Montecassino, one of the oldest monastery in Italy, founded in 529 by San Benedetto da Norcia.
Students from the University of Missouri-Columbia's School of Journalism were hosted by the School of Church Communications, on the Roman stop of their "Europe Tour 2019."
In addition to the University, they visited St. Peter's Basilica, and the Vatican Museums.
Registrations are open for the VI Course for Seminars Trainers, which will take place from February 2019 to January 2020 on the initiative of the Center for Priestly Formation.
The course takes place in two semesters, with two-hour weekly lessons for a total of 50 teaching hours; it has full compatibility with the Licentiate and Doctoral studies in the various roman universities.
In the second semester of the year 2018/19 the 2nd edition of the Corso sull’accompagnamento sacerdotale nel cammino matrimoniale is scheduled.
It will be divided into eight sessions, from February 20 to April 10, 2019, and will be given by university professors and other experts in family orientation.

On Thursday, January 10, 2019 took place the Academic Celebration in the feast of St. Raymond of Penyafort, patron of the School of Canon Law.
S.E.R. Mgr. Filippo Iannone, O. Carm., President of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, held the lesson Recent documents and provisions concerning the right of religious: confirmations and novelties.

On Monday November, 26, 2018, the School of Philosophy celebrated the Academic feast of the Patroness Saint Catherine of Alexandria.
After the Holy Mass in the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare, presided by the Dean of the School, prof. Emmanuele Vimercati, of the Pontifical Lateran University, held a lectio entitled: On the concept of justice. Platonic and Aristotelian perspectives.
At the first floor of the Palazzo dell'Apollinare, the Santa Croce Projects exhibition has been set up, presenting several Centers and Projects of research and teaching initiatives active in our University.
The exhibition aims to promote, first of all, the knowledge of these initiatives. In some cases, moreover, this information will inspire new collaborations, studies, research, proposals for doctoral theses and licenses.
