On Saturday, March 9, 2024 (at 4:00 PM, Álvaro del Portillo Hall), the "liber amicorum" dedicated to Prof. Johannes Grohe on the occasion of his 70th birthday was presented.
The text was written with contributions from friends, colleagues from Santa Croce, the Society for Historical Research of Councils, and the RIGG (Roman Institute of the Görres Society), of which the professor is Vice Director. Prof. Grohe will return to Germany in the fall, after 27 years of teaching Medieval Church History at our University.
On the 7th and 8th of March 2024, the University of the Holy Cross hosted the Interuniversity International Conference Women in the Church: Architects of the Human, which took place both in person and online. On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the School of Theology celebrated the Academic Feast in honor of Saint Thomas Aquinas with a pilgrimage to Viterbo.
Approximately 170 people participated, including professors and students who were welcomed with a greeting from the Bishop of Viterbo, Orazio Francesco Piazza.
