* Grzegorz Galazka was born in Poland in 1959. Photography has always been his passion. For more than 30 years he has lived and worked in Rome. His work focuses on the life of the Catholic Church and for this he has documented the papacies of St. John Paul II, Benedict XVI and now Francis I. He is the author of many evocative portraits of the popes, and one of his photographs was chosen as the official image of the beatification and canonization of John Paul II. He has accompanied the popes on numerous trips in Italy and abroad, documenting the most significant moments with shots that combine technical quality and great sensitivity. He collaborates with important Italian, European and international newspapers and has published more than one hundred photographic volumes in Italy and abroad. He is also co-founder of the magazine "Inside the Vatican," published in the United States.
