On Friday, February 14, 2025, the academic community of the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences of our University celebrated its Patroness with a Jubilee pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. The pilgrimage began in the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare, inside the chapel, in front of the image of the Madonna, with an introductory liturgy and the recitation of a prayer composed to ask for the intercession of the Mother of God for the involvement of the laity in the life of the Church. From February 18 to April 8, 2025, the first edition of the Course on the Pastoral Care of Forgiveness will be held, aimed at offering practical support to strengthen the ongoing formation of priests as ministers of mercy.
The course will take place on Tuesday afternoons, from 3:00 PM to 4:40 PM, and the methodology will be predominantly practical, following the case-study approach. Professors will send two cases prior to each session so that participants can read them in advance and actively engage in the discussion and resolution process.
