On Friday, February 14, 2025, the academic community of the Institute of Religious Sciences of our University celebrated its Patroness with a Jubilee pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
The pilgrimage began in the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare, inside the chapel, in front of the image of the Madonna, with an introductory liturgy and the recitation of a prayer composed to ask for the intercession of the Mother of God for the involvement of the laity in the life of the Church.

This new entity will specifically focus on coordinating and providing support to the research groups that have formed as a result of the Call for Projects of the academic years 2022-23 and 2023-24, as emphasized by the Vice-Rector of the University, Rev. From February 18 to April 8, 2025, the first edition of the Course on the Pastoral Care of Forgiveness will be held, aimed at offering practical support to strengthen the ongoing formation of priests as ministers of mercy.
The course will take place on Tuesday afternoons, from 3:00 PM to 4:40 PM, and the methodology will be predominantly practical, following the case-study approach. Professors will send two cases prior to each session so that participants can read them in advance and actively engage in the discussion and resolution process.
Wednesday, February 26, 2025 (9:00 AM, Álvaro del Portillo Hall), the Institute of Liturgy is organizing a study day titled Liturgy and Work.
Three presentations are scheduled:
Work as a Form of Liturgical Life will be presented by Prof. Stefan Geiger, OSB, from the Pontifical Liturgical Institute of Sant’Anselmo.
Prof. Randifer Boquiren from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross will discuss The Eucharistic Dynamism of Sanctification.
Prof. Pietro Angelo Muroni, from the Pontifical Urban University, will address the topic Opus Hominis in the Opus Dei.

Starting from February 26, 2025, and throughout the semester (every Wednesday from 10:50 AM to 12:30 PM in room A305), the School of Theology offers the Licentiate Course "Homiletic Text Reading Workshop," taught by Rev. Prof. Fabio Rosini.
The course aims to provide a form of apprenticeship in the art of reading the texts of Sunday liturgies, training participants for a more effective homiletics.
Registration is open until February 14. Students from institutions participating in the Cruipro Agreement can access the course free of charge.

On Thursday, February 27, 2025 (9:15 AM - 6:15 PM, Álvaro del Portillo Hall), the Center for Legal Studies on the Family, based at the School of Canon Law, is organizing the 7th Interdisciplinary Study Day on Legal Anthropology of the Family, titled Fidelity in Family Relationships: Between Love and Justice.
An interdisciplinary reflection that will involve biblical, anthropological, psychological, and legal aspects.

From March 10th to 13th, 2025 (from 3 PM to 5:30 PM in Room A301), as part of the Licentiate in Biblical Theology, the course Holiness in Scripture will be held in English by Prof. Scott Hahn, Professor of Biblical Theology and New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio (USA). An apologist of international renown, Hahn is also the author of numerous bestsellers.
