
After its first edition in 2024, the international workshop "Transparency, Accountability, and Evaluation in the Catholic Church – A Practical Journey" returns to Rome from July 15 to 19, 2025. Dedicated to bishops and financial directors of the Catholic Church, the event is organized by MCE (Markets, Culture and Ethics). On Tuesday, July 15 (starting at 8:30 AM in the Benedict XVI Hall), our University hosted the opening day of the workshop.

On Thursday, July 3, 2025, WikiLib took place—an informal gathering that brought together around 35 participants, including librarians and staff from major Roman and Vatican library systems. The initiative served as a spontaneous opportunity for discussion, with no scheduled speakers, focusing on topics related to metadata and cataloging for the semantic web, with particular attention to projects that use tools such as Wikidata and WikiBase.
Topics discussed included data description techniques, user services, and the sharing of best practices in the field of digital librarianship.

The Roman stage of the new edition of The Rome Experience came to a close on Wednesday, June 25, at our University. The program began on May 19, 2025, in the United States and is set to conclude on June 30, 2025, in Lyon.
This is a formative program for U.S. diocesan seminarians that, since 2009, has offered the opportunity each year to live an intense experience of faith and Catholicity in the heart of Europe.
The European journey has included, in addition to Rome and Lyon, cities such as Florence and Bracciano, featuring excursions, pilgrimages, spiritual retreats, and academic lectures.
