Open to students from all pontifical universities, this course aims to explore an emblematic text of the Scriptures - the Decalogue - from the different perspectives of Judaism and Christianity.

On Thursday, October 24, 2024 (9:00 am, Aula Magna Giovanni Paolo II), the 2024 Doctoral Students' Day was held at the initiative of the four Schools. After the opening remarks, prof. Jaime Nubiola, emeritus professor of Philosophy at the University of Navarra, gave a lectio magistralis entitled The Intellectual Life of a PhD Student: Reading, Thinking, Writing.
Two round tables followed. One on The First Steps of the PhD, coordinated by profs. José María Díaz, Kenny Ang, and Jaime Moya, and the other on The Thesis Writing Process, coordinated by profs. Gema Bellido, Gonzalo de la Morena, and Claudio Tagliapietra.
On October 18, 2024, the annual gathering of CARF benefactors – Centro Académico Romano Fundación – was once again held at our University. This Spanish foundation, established in 1989, makes it possible each year for dozens of seminarians and priests from around the world to receive their education at the ecclesiastical schools of the University of Navarra and the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome.

From October 15 to December 10, 2024, the Center for Priestly Formation is organizing the 3rd edition of the Course on the Formation of Affection in Priests, led by Rev. Francisco Insa, professor of Spiritual Theology and psychiatrist.
Balanced affection can be defined as the harmonious relationship between reason and the heart (will, passions, emotions, and feelings). But how can it be properly developed? Is it possible to help others grow, even humanly, through pastoral work? How can one gauge a person's maturity? These questions will be addressed during the course sessions.
