Permanent seminar of the SISRI School on "The perception of the foundation in scientific culture"
On Saturday, February 9, 2019, the third day of the Permanent Seminar of the International Higher School for Interdisciplinary Research (SISRI) took place. This year, SISRI Permanent Seminar is dedicated to the "perception of the foundation in scientific culture". Mario Micheletti, Professor of Moral Philosophy of the University of Siena, spoke on The God-reason: the deist perspective in the history of science.
The previous meetings were attended by Roberto Timossi, philosopher and essayist (20 October 2018), and Valentina Zaffino, professor of Philosophy of Humanism and Renaissance at the Lateran University (1 December 2018).
The next activity is scheduled for March 16, 2019, with the participation of Giuseppe Tanzella-Nitti, Professor of Fundamental Theology and director of the SISRI School.
The Permanent Seminar is structured in three-year cycles and includes 4 working days distributed throughout the academic year. Each day includes a lesson given to an invited speaker, a coffee break followed by group work (problem solving), lunch and the afternoon resumption of work with the presentation of the results in the classroom.
