About the course:
The course, organized in collaboration with Società Dante Alighieri, is addressed to new students of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross and aims to provide the students the skills to be able to approach the study of the courses offered at the University.
The course is open only to students enrolled in the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross courses. External students are not allowed.
Dates, schedule and fee:
From 3rd through 30th September 2020.
This year, due to the health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the course will be held online at the following times:
Levels I and III: from Monday to Friday (9:00-13:00).
Level III: from Monday to Friday (14:30-18:30).
The fee of the course is 330 euros (book included), and it must be paid according to the conditions that will be communicated by the Società Dante Alighieri.
An exam to determine the level of Italian knowledge of each student will take place on the first day of lessons (absolute beginners can deliver the test in a blank paper).
Level I: absolute beginner level (for those who have never studied Italian = A1)
Level II: elementary level (for those who have some knowledge of Italian = A2)
Level III: average level (for those who already know Italian quite well = B1)
At the end of the courses, there will be an exam in order to prove the Italian language ability of every student; a final certificate will be at disposition a week after the exam at the Secretary of the Dante Alighieri (P.zza Firenze, 27).
