ISSR at Apollinare, AFE Study Day: "On the Road to Marriage"
On Saturday, May 13, 2023 (9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Room A202), the Istituto Superiore di Scienze Religiose all'Apollinare is organizing the annual AFE (the Italian acronym for “Love Family Education”) Study Day entitled On the Road to Marriage.
The speakers will be: Prof. Héctor Franceschi, professor of Canon Matrimonial Law, and Prof. José María Galvan, professor of Moral Theology, while Prof. Sipontina Beverelli will lead a workshop.
This year's study day, which offers an in-depth look at love and family, will focus on the preparation for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. It will not be looking further into the methods or content of premarital courses, but will be taking a closer look at the underlying personal dispositions that those who are about to receive this Sacrament should have, both positively (what these dispositions are) and negatively (why they may be lacking).
