Interdisciplinary Forum on Anthropology (IFA)
The IFA is an initiative promoted by the Faculty of Philosophy of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in collaboration with professors from other universities and cultural institutions. It aims to promote research and discussion on the main anthropological issues, framed within an integral conception of the human person considered in all its dimensions: biological, psychological, cultural, moral and religious. Aware that today's reflection on the human cannot ignore an interdisciplinary perspective, scholars from different fields of the humanities, philosophy and theology collaborate with the Forum.
-

ROR Group (Research in Relational Ontology)
The crisis of the contemporary era is marked by the inability of the various disciplines to dialogue with each other, an inability that makes them insignificant for the concrete life of today's man. It almost seems as if the different sciences are all called upon to take a step back from their own epistemic pretensions, in order to find a common logos that puts them back in touch with properly human reality and not only with technical or material dimensions.
From various quarters, there is agreement on the diagnosis that this crisis is primarily metaphysical. The absence of a common language on being makes dialogue between different specialisations increasingly difficult. The paradox seems to be that greater disciplinary specialisation corresponds to less ability to relate to the real studied by other disciplines. The ROR stems from the conviction of its members that overcoming this crisis cannot consist in a return to a pre-modern state, but requires ontological work to extend metaphysics to the relational dimension.
