On October 18 at 18:00, the Markets, Culture and Ethics (MCE) research center organized the event "Empowering the generation of economic value: the Open Spaces of Reconnection, the case of Ridaje", the last appointment of the webinar series "Empowering People". Guests of the event Monica Lucarelli (Councillor for Productive Activities and Equal Opportunities), Domenico Nesci (Angel Partner Group co-founder), Lorenzo Di Ciaccio (Ridaje co-founder, Pedius founder) and Luca Mongelli (MCE Executive Director, Ridaje co -founder).
During the appointment Ridaje was presented as an innovative start-up with a social vocation, born from the fusion of two experiences: the entrepreneurial one of Lorenzo Di Ciaccio and the academic one of Luca Mongelli. The mission of Ridaje, typical Roman jargon, is to offer a second chance to homeless people and the green spaces of the city of Rome. According to a new understanding of space, theorized by Luca Mongelli in his monographic work, the garden, an open space, becomes a place of reconnection for people excluded from the social fabric with the society around them.
The event took place at Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti - Roma Capitale, at Tiburtina Station.
The webinar series "Empowering People" is organized in partnership with the Center for Business in Society from IESE Business School*, Venture Thinking, Humanistic Management and International Humanistic Management Association.
