On Friday, May 10th, 2024, the annual University Feast in memory of Blessed Álvaro del Portillo, our founder and first Grand Chancellor, will take place.
As a special guest, we will have the artist and sculptor JAGO, the pseudonym of Jacopo Cardillo, author of numerous exhibitions and installations. As stated on his website: "His artistic research is rooted in traditional techniques. JAGO uses marble as a noble material but addresses fundamental themes of the era he inhabits, establishing a direct relationship with the public through the use of video and social networks, to share the production process."
The schedule for the Feast will be as follows:
- 10:45 AM - Meeting-discussion with JAGO in the "Giovanni Paolo II" Auditorium
- 12:45 PM - Holy Mass at the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare
- 1:15 PM - Lunch (packed lunch for students, to be consumed on the terrace or courtyard, at a cost of €3) (Confirmations are required at this link)
- 2:15 PM - Cake cutting and toast in the Courtyard
A complete packed lunch will be provided for students at a cost of €3. RSVP is required at this link
